A short history of our company. We haven’t always been known as Allied Crane, but we have always been the same business, under the same ownership, doing the same thing … providing crane and millwright/rigging services to business and government in the Mid-South.

In 1975, Mike Flynn – opened a business in Crossville, Tennessee with 1 small crane and a dream of growing a business to support his family. Back then we were known as Broadway Crane & Rigging – a small upstart looking to expand its business, buy more cranes, and provide better service than any other crane rental company in the Mid-South. In 1981 we changed our name to Crossville Crane, and in 2011 we made the name change to Allied Crane. Our new name helps reflect our growing regional influence and expanding office locations.

As the years have passed, our reputation for trusted, safe, reliable service has helped us grow into one of the largest crane and rigging companies in this region. Today, we support needs ranging from 8 ton cranes to 265 ton cranes, and our millwright/rigging equipment includes the most modern machinery moving equipment in the marketplace – Versa-Lift and TrakSporter.
